The Eganville location began in the late sixties by George Wilcox. Today the business is run by his son Jeff Wilcox who opened up the Ottawa location in the spring of '98.

In the Spring of 2004 we opened the finest facility for the recreational enthusiast in Ontario and maybe all of Canada. The 18,000 square foot facility in Ottawa has it all with over 35 boats, ATV's & snowmobiles inside, all for your viewing enjoyment. This store also has 3,000 square feet of accessory showroom designed specifically for the sporting enthusiast who doesn't have it all...YET!.
As things would have it we are continuing to expand and in November of 2009 Georges has added 2 new product lines to our mix. Regal and Berkshire pontoons, both companies offer the finest in craftsmanship and materials and making Regal JD Power winners in the cruiser segment 3 years in a row. Regal is a name that has been synonomise with quality for over 40 years and coincidentally 2009 was also the 40th year for Georges making Regal and Georges a guaranteed homerun.
Service is a huge concern for us at Georges and we will continually challenge ourselves to give our customers a better experience each time that they visit one of our stores.
